A Morning Thought

This morning, my father bought a local newspaper which contained the announcement of Civil Servants recruitment held by my town. I haven't really count it but i reckon thousand or so people has become a new "public servants" at my province. Well, i don't know if i should congratulate or simply show an "i'm not impressed" reaction.

Everytime i see the name list, the first thing coming to my mind is "how much they pay for that position?", "Is it her mother or her uncle who has a connection?". Okay, call me cynical but i'm the one who has lost -almost all- of my trust for this country specifically for my government. But i also confused by people at this country (well, some of them but still a great number of 'em), why so proud giving a tons of money to be part of broken bureaucracy? What happened to "believe in my very own ability"? What happened to "working hard to gain succeed"? I'm concerned of how most people think this is the only way they can do for living.

I know several names at that list, and i think one or two of them really deserve the job because of their ability. But then again there are also people i know who got this job years ago and they were seem so sincere, a hard working people, honest, etc but ended have business with the court blah.. blah.. That's where my doubt coming from, the prospect of turning a good person into a sinner that my government has. This is like an evil machine without anyone knows how to turn this off. This is exactly why i don't want to be a civil employee, i really don't want to be a part of this. And i thanked god my parents raise me in a very fair circumstances, a father that giving example how to not bewitched by gold and fame, a mother who showed how to dedicate ourselves to a job we have. I'm a good girl and i'll never let anything change it. I'll accept the low payment which i get right now, and work hard to get acknowledgment later. because i believe in my self, i believe in justice, i believe in Allah SWT.

This, remind me why i love football in general. A footballer have to work hard and sacrificed everything when they were just a child. They can't fully enjoy their childhood like other kids did. Some of them had to live far from their families. They had to face a rejection, injuries, and low point to be a "somebody". And it is worth it. They later deserved of every penny they've earned and popularity they've got. Otherwise, when they're already at the top they still can't stop improving themselves in order to keep their position and being a professionals. And those value which infiltrate me the most, only if you work hard you'll get everything you deserve to. I would rather work hard than a shortcut. So, I'll keep improving my self, i'll keep learning, and i hope in the end i'll get recognition.

But to be fair, everyone has their own opinion and way of thinking. This is just my opinion and people can agree or disagree. I'm not saying there's no one left in our government who are really qualified (That's why i gave a try in a recruitment held by ministry of communication and information a while ago). I also believe that there's somebody out there who still has heart and principles, who appreciate capability and honesty. I'm not giving up and wishing someday my beloved country will run by good hearted people who also has skills.

I end this post with picture of two of many hardworking footballers whose life story is such a very good example for everyone. Two footballers from my favorite club. Two footballers who -rumours has it- are having internal conflicts which i think just a bullshit and rubbish that media and Real-haters made.

(In case you can't tell, this is el capitan of Spain and Portugal, Iker Casillas and Cristiano Ronaldo, from Real Madrid)

PS: Talking about country, i give my support for Indonesia National Team in AFF championship final!! buena suerte!

I LOVE YOU REAL MADRID

So, this still Tuesday.. The sky is still blue, the roses are still red etc..

Ok i lied. The sky is dark for all Madridista. I'm devastated. The last time i cried for football was in the World Cup final (tears of joy of course). This game, this game.. was so %$#$#*%.. From the beginning everything went so wrong, a shaky start, an early goal (or goals?), a poor defense. But whatever, i'll knock my head to the wall to amnesia this game from my head anyway..

Now let's talk about Sergio's behavior. I don't approve. I can't approve. Sergio shouldn't slapped his NT Teammates (even tho i know they talk shit to him bla..bla..), but really Sergio? That was Puyi! That was Xavi!! I hope he calls them later so there won't be a misunderstanding.

I bet people won't get over this for a week (or month, or forever?). Whatever is going to happen, whatever people will say, whatever, whatever, whatever.. I just wanna say I LOVE YOU REAL MADRID. And i'm proud to be a Merengue. We'll get it together! We will take the top of table ASAP!! To end this, i'll put one of my fave pic from one of my fave tumblr Jose's Blackbook.

PS: I told before i wanna be a cule, but after 5 months trying i found that i just can't. I know they're good (and my 8 spaniards are there) but i'm too WHITE to be a blue red.. Thanks god.

Enjoying Life

You know i'm practically jobless now, but to tell you the truth i'm so happy being like this.. I don't feel like in a rush to get job fast just like i felt at my last year in college. I love being at home, watch TV, sleep all day, go online, cook a bit, watch football match in the midnight, clean the house (when i want to) and watch movies that i rent while most people working from 8 to 5 and sleeping already above 10pm. Hahahahaha.. (evil's laugh)

Life's keep running everyday, at one point i know i will join those people (the working people) and i believe i will also enjoy it. But right now, this rare chance got to be treat like how it supposed to be..

Cheers

The wrestling of Bahasa and English

A friend of mine tweeted me yesterday, she said she wanted to read my blog but since almost all my post written in English, she became dizzy. This, make me think, at the beginning of this blog i wrote my post in Bahasa then i decided to wrote it in English with some reasons:

1. My English isn't so good (as you can see), so i needed a place where i can practice my English. By writing in English, i can learn how to arrange words and re-read it sometimes to spot on some mistakes. It helps me a lot, because here in my country especially in my city, talking with others in English is still considered as an awkward gesture.

2. Writing my thoughts in English is easier. I don't know why but write it in Bahasa makes me shy, it feels too straightforward. Don't get me wrong, i didn't mean i am not proud of my own language but there's so many kind of "Bahasa tulis" here in indonesia. It confuses me, because i don't want to write in "bahasa alay", i don't like mixing Bahasa with English, and don't like a formal Bahasa type either.

3. By looking at my blog traffic, it looks like there are some people from other countries visited my blog. (Really thank you whoever you are.. :)) I want to make this blog more universal, so more people from all over the world would come here and read my thoughts.

Now after my friend mentioned it, i think i need to write more in Bahasa so my friends won't get confuse anymore when they visiting my page. Or i could just put a translator in my page.

Or what?

:/

PS: I still need time for posting the "graduation day" post. Uploading some photos with this modem really need a big effort and patience. *sigh

A real champions never affraid of losing!

Ok, i think i need to make a special post about tonight's game before any Media releases such a bombastic headlines. You know something like "Juara Dunia dipermalukan Argentina dengan skor telak" or "Pukulan keras bagi Spanyol sang Juara Dunia" bla..bla.. Yes, we lost against Argentina with 4-1 score! To tell the truth i kinda disappointed. But, in the other hand there are some factors which made it happen. And i chose to accept this as a lesson for us to face another stage in our footballing-life.

(thank you for a goal from Fernando Llorente)

Beside the external reasons such as we played at El Monumental Argentina where the crowd full with blue-white supporters. Or because we faced "a better Argentina National Team" where there are some great comebacks like Zanetti, Cambiasso, D'Alessandro completing Masch, Tevez, Higuain, Di Maria and of course the world's best player Messi. It is also obvious that VDB wanted to try another formation and make sure that the team won't depend too much to Xavi or Iker or Ramos..

(It reminds me about El-Clasicco)

(i love the red tie)

I believe it was a good decision for the team, i mean we can't do a trial strategy in a "serious" even like Eurocopa Qualifying match, right? And i agree with RCTI commentator Tommy Welly who said that it is a good psychological warning for the team so they could recharge they winning desire and keeping their feet on the ground. I know that 4 goal is too much for a big team like ours but the ball still round, so..

I don't know how exactly the boys feeling right now but i'm sure they know what to do next time. This team consist of people who has, not only great footballing skill but also own a great personality. They wouldn't blame anyone and won't mourn this longer than 10 seconds after the whistle blew. Well, above all it's so good to know that 3 of 4 Argentine goalscorer are play for Spanish club, no? :) It means Spain has a contribution of maturing the Argentine players even though they have to strive against Spain it self.

(Lucky Pipita didn't have to face Iker)

Rise and Shine La Roja! We're here to support you whatever it takes. Consider this not as a failure but a stepping stone to make another history!

Looove you with all my heart..

PS: Poor Pepe Reina, i hope he's fine! :(
